In the past 5 years as Member of Parliament Rajkumari Ratna Singh has changed the face of Pratapgarh. Through the central government schemes and her resources she has done immense work in her constituency. She has brought in many new highways and bridges. Also started 12 new trains and halts. Training the farmers to improve the quality of crops therefore maximising profit. Also training the unemployed in Weaving, Stitching, Small scale poultry farming, Goat keeping and beekeeping through her NGO Kalakankar Foundation. Provided water to many hamlets and public places that did not have water. And the greatest work in terms of development is that the 1100 Small villages & 4500 hamlets that still did not have electricity will finally have a Light bulb glowing. This is all thanks to the 300 crores Rajkumari Ji got Sanctioned from Delhi under the Rajiv Ganghi Gramin Vidyuti Karan Scheme.
